White Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbs. yeast
  • 1 Tbs. salt
  • ¼ c. sugar
  • 2 ¼ c. warm water
  • 2 Tbs. butter
  • 5 c. flour

Instructions

  1. activate yeast in warm water with a little sugar. Add salt, flour. Cut in butter.
  2. Knead 8 min. let rise to double. Punch down. Form. Let rise again.
  3. Bake 25-30 min. at 350. voila!

  4. *good for caramel rolls and biscuits!
