Ingredients
- 2 c sugar
- 2 c flour
- Pinch of salt ---
- 2 sticks margarine
- 4 Tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 c water ---
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ½ c milk w/ ½ tsp vinegar (to make buttermilk) FROSTING:
- ½ stick margarine
- 1 Tbsp cocoa powder
- 4 Tbsp milk
Instructions
- Mix together flour, salt, sugar
- Bring margarine, cocoa powder, water to boil
- Pour over dry mix
- Mix together eggs, baking soda, vanilla, buttermilk. add to main batter and mix
- Bake 15 min at 400 FROSTING:
- Boil margarine, cocoa, milk together for short time
- Add powdered sugar until thickened a bit
- Add 1 tsp vanilla
- Pour over hot brownies (let them cool a tiny bit or frosting will melt, but don't wait til cool!)
