Ingredients
- ½ onion
- 1 pkg. Tofu
- 1/8 tsp. Salt
- 1 Tbs. Oil
- ½ c. BBQ sauce
- 2 ¼ c. coleslaw mix
- 3 Tbs. Mayo
- 3 tsp. Red wine vinegar
- ½ tsp. Garlic powder
- pepper to taste
- wheat buns
Instructions
- chop onion, soak in cold water. Set aside.
- Cut tofu lengthwise into 1/2” thick slabs. Pat dry and sprinkle with salt.
- Cook tofu in oil on medium heat about 4 min. on each side til browned.
- Add BBQ sauce, set heat to low and cover. Cook 3 min. more.
- Combine slaw, mayo, vinegar, garlic powder and pepper.
- Assemble sandwich. Serve with Garlic Aioli and pepperjack cheese.
