Ingredients
- Pie crust
- 8 + cups sliced apples (cortland, granny smith, haroldson, macintosh)
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. flour
- 2 tsp. Cinnamon
- dash of salt
- 3 tbs. Butter cut up
Instructions
- Stir together sugar, flour, cinnamon, salt.
- Add apples.
- Put mixture in bottom crust (use glass pie pan!)
- Top with 3 tbs. Butter cut up.
- Cover with top crust, seal edges. Cut slits.
- Cover edge of pie with foil, pull off towards end.
- Bake at 425 for 30 minutes. Remove foil, bake for another 10-20 until bubbly.
