Alfredo from Foods Class

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 8 oz heavy whipping cream
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • ¼ c parmesan
  • ¼ c Romano
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 Tbs Parmesan

Instructions

  1. Melt butter
  2. Add cream
  3. Add salt, nutmeg & ¼ c parmesan & ¼ c romano
  4. Stir until melted
  5. Add egg yolk
  6. Simmer over low/med heat 3-5 min
  7. Add 2 Tbs parmesan
