Popcorn Balls from Terri

Ingredients

  • 5 quarts popped corn
  • 2 c sugar
  • 1 2 c water (???) 12 c water? not sure...
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ c light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Keep popcorn in oven at 300
  2. Cook sugar, water, salt & corn syrup to very hard ball stage (256°)
  3. Add vinegar & vanilla
  4. Cook to crack (270°)
  5. Pour slowly over popcorn
  6. Mix well to coat every kernel
  7. Press into balls
